"Top of Mind at Goldman Sachs" becomes a podcast

When I first started writing the Top of Mind report for Goldman Sachs Research, I wanted to figure out a way to use our insights and resources here at the firm to provide content to our clients on the topics they were most interested in learning about – whether it’s economic policy or an important upcoming election. I never thought it would become as popular as it has both with our clients and my colleagues. I’m excited to announce that we’re now turning the report into a publicly available podcast.

Since I was already recording interviews with most of the people included in the reports, we thought: “Why not weave those recordings into what has become an increasingly popular and accessible way to hear smart content?”

We released our first episode a few weeks ago, delving into the heated public debate around the use of corporate cash for stock buybacks. Our second episode focuses on the upcoming elections for the EU Parliament. The elections happen every five years and normally don’t get much attention, but the rise in populist and nationalist forces has some arguing the vote could pose a real threat to the future of the EU.

I think both of the podcasts really bring our reports to life in a whole new way. I hope you can take a listen and let me know what you think. Just search Top of Mind at Goldman Sachs on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or Stitcher. Look out for more episodes breaking down key issues like these that are top of mind for investors, executives and policymakers.
